Questions

What is natural stone?
Stone that has been quarried from different regions around the world. This includes surfaces such as granite, marble, quartzite, porcelain, soapstone, and onyx, among others. Every piece is unique in color, pattern, and tone. Natural stone inherently has minor blemishes or grades that contribute to it's unique design. This stone ranges in porosity and strength, making it essential for us to provide the appropriate sealing and reinforcement to not compromise its function.
What is engineered stone?
Man-made stone that's fabricated by blending mixtures of resins, colors, and stone aggregates and pressed under high pressures. This includes surfaces such as quartz, Dekton, Neolith, Corian, and Staron, among others. Engineered stone is typically uniform in color, pattern, and tone for the same kind of material. This stone is non-porous and typically stronger than natural stone.
How much does it cost?
With hundreds of options to choose from and with natural and engineered stone each having a wide range in pricing, this figure is difficult to calculate to say the least. A better approach is to first take a look at your project and budget, and then narrow your options from there.
Where can I view samples?
Open by appointment, our showroom is where you can view samples from the major distributors we work with. We are also happy to refer you to our local distributors where you'll be able to choose from a wider variety of materials and view the raw products up close.
Is there a warranty?
Each material typically carries its own warranty, depending on the brand and type. We also guarantee you'll be satisfied with the craftsmanship at the time of installation.
When do we contact you?
Please feel free to contact us at any point in your renovation project. The process is smoother when we have a plan set before lifting a hammer, but if you find yourself in the middle of your project and would like a second opinion, we are happy to help. We also work regularly with other general contractors who may want us to come in during the countertop portion of your project.
What is your turnaround time?
We do our best to have a short turnaround time. The entire process typically takes 2 to 3 weeks from the first consultation to the day of installation, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
